Kids Free Florida Keys Available for Families Through Oct. 13

Through Oct. 13, visiting families can explore Florida Keys attractions, tours, watersports and other offerings with a value-added program that provides free admission for children age 12 or younger. Called Kids Free Florida Keys, the program was created by the Key West Attractions Association.

Families can visit KidsFreeFloridaKeys.com to download coupons for visits to nature-themed and historic attractions, restaurants and activities ranging from helicopter sightseeing tours to glassbottom boat eco-tours and snorkel excursions. The site features links to participating businesses and information about their offerings.

Each child must be accompanied by at least one paying adult.

Participating Kids Free Florida Keys attractions and museums in Key West include the Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory, Fort East Martello, Conch Tour Train, Key West Aquarium, Old Town Trolley Tours, Key West Lighthouse, Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum, Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Garden, Sails to Rails Museum and the Oldest House Museum and Gardens.

Things to Do in Kid Friendly Florida Keys

Among other Key West offerings are multiple watersports excursions and unique experiences with Key West Food Tours and the Southernmost Scavenger Hunt.

Middle and Upper Keys Kids Free Florida Keys participants include Dolphin Research Center, the Turtle Hospital, Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters and the History of Diving Museum. In addition, families can enjoy oTHErside Boardsports’ paddle or kayak eco-tours, and snorkel or dive experiences from Amy Slate’s Amoray Dive Center.

Also available are restaurant offers and gifts for kids from hotels.
