Welcome to the Florida Keys Treasures Golf Page. There are several Golf Courses throughout the 120 miles of Florida Keys Islands.

In the Upper Keys at the North end of Key Largo, in the area of Ocean Reef community, there are several golf courses.

The Card Sound Golf Club is a very private club, allowing only 235 members. The course was built in a scenic location. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on at least five separate occasions. Ted McAnalis redesigned the course in the early 1990s.

This is a par 71, 18 hole course.
Dress code: No denim, collared shirt and bermuda shorts required.
Season: Open all year.
Guest Policy: Closed.

The Ocean Reef Club Golf Courses are also in a private club. This resort has two regulation eighteen hole courses. The Harbor Course is very tight and any shot hit off the fairways may land you in trouble. The fairways are bordered by thick rough and tree lines. The medium-sized greens vary in undulation, however, none of them are too severely sloped and their speeds are fast. The Dolphin Course, the longer of the two courses, is a little more open and forgiving. Water hazards come into play on seven holes. The greens are similar to the Harbor Course, but they don't putt as fast. The signature holes for the resort are the #10 and #18 holes on the Harbor Course. Each of these short par 4's require tee shots from platform tee boxes, and then approach shots over water hazards loaded with Mangrove trees. Both the Harbor and Dolphin Courses have offer scenic views of the countryside and ocean. One thing to remember is that putts will have a tendency to break in the direction of the setting sun.

They are both par 71, 18 hole courses Built in 1975 and designed by Bruce Devlin & Robert von Hagge.
Dress code: No denim, collared shirt and bermuda shorts required.
Season: Open all year.
Guest Policy: Closed.

The Key Colony Beach Golf & Tennis club is in the Middle Keys.

This 9 hole, par 54 course is open to the public. This short par 3 course has small greens. The fairways are generous because there is no rough. There are no water hazards, but bunkers do come into play. The signature hole is #8, a 121-yard, par 3, which plays to an elevated green with a flat top. Ladies tee off from the same set as the men.

Built in 1980.
Dress code: Shirt and shoes required.
Season: Open all year.

The Lower Keys has a more typical municipal golf course. The Key West Golf Course is a public course on Stock Island, just across the bridge from Key West.

Golf legend Rees Jones masterfully designed the Key West Golf Course, an 18 hole, par 70, 6,500 yard course to be a challenge to players of all abilities. Come meet all the exciting challenges of the Key West Golf Course, including the infamous "Mangrove Hole" (143 yards, par 3 that is played completely over a field of thickly intertwined tropical mangroves).
