Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park Key West

Fees: $5 per carload (up to 8 people). Pedestrians and Bicyclists $1 each.

Fishing
The area along the west side of the park is ideal for fishing. The main ship channel is approximately 33-feet deep and provides the angler with access to a variety of saltwater fish. Saltwater fishing licenses are required in Florida.

Guided Tours
Guided tours are available daily. Please inquire at Ranger Station for tour times.

Picnicking
Shaded picnic areas are available for visitors to enjoy their catch of the day. These areas include tables, grills and several outside shower and bathhouse facilities.

Sunset at Mallory Square Key West Historic Waterfront

This Celebration includes participants consisting of arts and crafts exhibitors, street performers, food carts, psychics and of course the thousands of tourists from around the world who visit this Key West art show. Each night around two hours before sunset masses of people, both locals and tourists alike, flock to the water's edge to experience a multicultural happening and to watch the sun sink into the Gulf of Mexico.

This is a Must See on every visitor to Key West and is also enjoyed by locals.

Key West Cemetery, at Frances and Olivia Streets in Old Town the Dead Center of town. Take a self-guided tour through our burial ground. Plenty of quirky and whimsical history is revealed just by reading the tomb stones.

Key West Botanical Garden on Stock Island MM 4 off College Road on the right side just over the bridge. This 11-acre, city-owned garden is opened from dawn until dusk and is free to the public. A great place to take a tour, bird watch or just hang out and have a picnic. On Saturday, volunteers are available to answer your questions.
